AutoSocialProof is a social proof notification app. One line of code adds recent-sales popups, live visitor counters, review popups, email collectors and 12 more widget types to any website. It is built by TheBigBot LLC on one simple idea: online stores feel empty because visitors cannot see each other, so show them, truthfully.
Why we built it
Walk into a busy shop and you learn a lot without anyone saying a word: people are browsing, someone is at the till, the staff are friendly. Online, every shop looks the same and every shop looks empty.
Social proof widgets were supposed to fix that, but a lot of them made it worse by inventing activity. Visitors learned to ignore "someone in New York just bought", and in 2024 the US Federal Trade Commission finalised a rule with civil penalties for fake reviews.
So AutoSocialProof is built the other way round. Every widget shows something real: orders your store sends, forms on your pages, visitors the pixel counts, reviews customers wrote. 16 widget types, 29 themes, one line of code.
